Prior to co-founding Wilcox Dunakin Chrisopoulos, LLP, Stelios was a partner at Grant, Genovese & Baratta, LLP. Throughout his career, Stelios has been an innovative, tenacious and hardworking advocate who has handled all aspects of litigation in state, federal and appellate courts. He has represented clients in numerous multi-million dollar lawsuits and high-profile legal matters. His areas of expertise include business disputes, construction defect, real estate transactions, landlord tenant, premises liability and insurance defense. Stelios also has extensive experience in representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of personal injury and tort actions, including catastrophic injuries and wrongful deaths.
Stelios graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. While at UCLA, Stelios was the President of the Sigma Chi fraternity and served on UCLA’s Interfraternity Council. He was also a staff member at UCLA’s alumni camp/resort, Bruin Woods. Additionally, Stelios interned for Governor Pete Wilson as a member of the Executive Branch and served on the governor’s advance team.
Prior to commencing law school at the University of San Diego, Stelios worked at the Department of Justice, Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement. While at USD, Stelios was elected President and Vice President of the Student Bar Association. He also served as USD’s delegate at the American Bar Association’s national conference in New York. Stelios obtained his Juris Doctorate from USD in 2001.
Stelios was born and raised in California. His parents emigrated at a young age from Greece. Stelios is fluent in Greek and is actively involved in the Greek community.
Stelios is married with three children including a set of twins. His outside activities and interests include coaching youth sports, fishing, playing basketball and running with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain.
